My Projects

As a Project Coordinator at Young Power in Social Action (YPSA), technical support by IRC and funded by USAID, I oversee the strategic vision and technical quality of protection programs, lead the implementation of Integrated Protection and DRR grants, and ensure staff compliance with donor regulations. During my time as a Consultant-Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (JHUCCP), funded by UNICEF, I coordinated project progress reports, conducted field visits, and provided technical support to field teams. As a Project Officer at United Purpose, technical support by IOM and funded by GAC, I developed implementation plans, monitored project progress, and facilitated capacity building for community forums and youth mobilization. At Relief International as a Partners Capacity Building Officer, funded by USAI I developed capacity plans for consortium partners and conducted technical and organizational assessments. In my role as a Community Mobilization & Governance Officer at ActionAid Bangladesh, funded by UNHCR  I engaged refugees in CCCM operations, established community governance structures, and conducted awareness campaigns. Previously, as a Community Mobilization Officer at BRAC, funded by UNHCR  I organized community engagement sessions and set up camp governance structures, and as a Field Facilitator Officer at Shushilan, funded by ACF I coordinated life skills activities for Rohingya youth and maintained liaison with organizations. Additionally, I have worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer since 2015 and a Radio Performer and Vocal Artist at Bangladesh Betar since 2000.

Project Coordinator at Young Power in Social Action (YPSA)

Project: Integrated Protection and Resilience Interventions for Host community in three subdistricts (Ramu, Ukhiya and Chakaria) of Cox’s Bazar District | Funded by USAID

Duties’/Achievements:

Technical Quality Assurance and Strategic Oversight

  • Lead on the overall strategic vision of the protection program in host communities.
  • In coordination with the respective Technical Managers of IRC, ensure the technical quality of the project.
  • Provide technical and management leadership to the integrated protection and DRR programs in accordance with best practice and YPSA policies.
  • Ensure that ethical and sound data collection and information management systems are in place for appropriate GBV, children and other at-risk people analysis, planning, evaluation, and advocacy.
  • Ensure that all programs (from support work with women and girls to community outreach and engagement) adheres to a women-, girl- and survivor-centered and feminist approach and that staff are supported to build and strengthen their practice in this area.

Program Management, Implementation Oversight and Compliance

  • Responsible for the overall implementation of Integrated protection and DRR grants.
  • Support implementation and ensure adherence to grant work plans, spending plans and monitoring and evaluation plans.
  • Support development and maintenance of effective and efficient oversight, support, quality control and reporting systems and processes.
  • Lead and ensure quality of Project management Meetings throughout project period, including ensuring that implementation, learning and close-out meetings are planned and conducted in a timely manner with full participation of all relevant stakeholders/staff.
  • Provide leadership to the team for timely and high-quality implementation of programs, and promote regular reviews of program progress – both internal and external – and budget spending (i.e., through tracking spending plans, , etc).
  • Actively contributes to the development and review of program approaches, making concrete recommendations for changes in project activities, approaches, and areas of action as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the project is implemented in compliance with BHA regulations as well as IRC internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct frequent field visits to all project sites for monitoring, quality control and project staff mentoring and coaching.
  • Ensure the production of clear and quality donor reports, both narrative and financial.

Staff Supervision & Development:

 

  • Directly supervise the Upazila Manager/ Account, Admin and Logistics Office/Project Officer/MEAL Officer.
  • Maintain open, supportive, and professional relationships with all the project team members, YPSA and IRC representatives, promoting a strong team spirit and providing management support and guidance to enable staff to successfully perform their roles.
  • Convening the team on a regular basis to review programming, progress, successes and challenges and make timely adjustments to the activities; and reporting back to the supervisees.
  • Ensure timely completion and submission of monthly timesheets, probation reviews, appraisals and annual performance reviews; and provide regular constructive feedback to develop their practice.

Promote Project Learning and Analysis

  • Work with the M&E team to build and foster a culture of learning and reflection that uses data to design and adapt project
  • Coordinate with IRC for key assessments and learnings

Coordination & Representation

  • Lead in developing public messaging and profile of the project
  • Represent external relationships with various relevant government line ministries, GBV subsector and organizations and key events relating to the project.

Consultant-Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (JHUCCP)

Duties’/Achievements:

  • Coordinate the team and also responsible to prepare project progress reports, including technical reports and other reports as per project requirement.
  • Regular visit field and update the management regularly of challenges faced in implementation of the project activities and jointly device mitigation measures. Also Collect field stories and write success stories.
  • Must contact within the organization and outside the duty station, as well as with partners and other stakeholders to collect information, monitor programmed activities and implement administrative requirements.
  • Work in accordance with the multi-functional team (MFT) methodology as outlined in the Program Manual, ensuring the participation of relevant stakeholders in all phases of the Program Management Cycle.
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, budget, and expenditures at the local level and prepare appropriate documentation.
  • Provide support to the field with technical advice to ensure partnership agreements are established in a timely manner, regularly monitored, and reported on in compliance with established guidelines and procedures included in the framework for implementing with partners/donor/stakeholders.
  • Track any modifications to the results chain’s alignment, the accuracy of the indicators, the budget, the order of importance, the amount allotted for evaluating the performance of the program, trends, and targeted interventions, as well as improvements to the quality of the data and the operations plan.
  • Provide support to the project team in coordination of various seminars and workshops at the local and national levels, serving as a resource to distribute project insights when necessary, and act as a representative of the project at pertinent information gatherings. Project Officer at Livelihood & Localization United Purpose

Project: Strengthening Social Cohesion and Civil Society Capacity within Cox’s Bazar District of Bangladesh Project; Supported by-IOM & Funded by GAC (Global Affairs of Canada)

Duties’/Achievements:

To ensure project have better plan to achieve their goals-

  • Ensure technical support to develop Details Implementation Plan (DIP) of projects timely.
  • Ensure project plan is monitored and documented its progress.
  • Ensure the formation of community forums e.g., groups formation, youth mobilization and capacity building of neighborhood youth spaces/parliament.
  • Provide and capacity building support of the PNGO’s and project team on community Orientations on behavioral change, social cohesion & peacebuilding, conflict prevention, early marriage, trafficking & GBV, empowerment & leadership, reproductive health, DRR etc.
  • Support to organize of sporting events, meeting, training, and facilitating.
  • Develop training module, training plan, PNGO’s contingency plan, strategic plan of PNGO’s.
  • Organize and facilitate ICT and carrier skills training for youth development and employment.
  • Support to select and finalize the beneficiaries list of livelihood and social cohesion interventions.
  • Support to select/design schemes for small scale mitigations in consultation with communities and LGIs and support to implement.

  • Ensuring maintenance of effective coordination and communication with UNO, LGI’s, ISCG, CiC, clusters, sector’s, line departments and other stake holders in advance by sharing detail plan

Partners Capacity Building Officer at Relief International

Duties/Achievements:

  • As per the organizational capacity assessment strategy and in alignment with partners’ needs, develop and maintain consortium partners’ capacity plans. (Developed a comprehensive self-assess mental organizational capacity assessment (OCA) tool)
  • Assist in relevant sessions and workshops with partners to identify strategic priorities in terms of partners’ organizational and technical capacity development.
  • Support in conducting technical and organizational assessments of prospective and current partners.
  • Coordinate the development of integrated capacity building plans for all partners in collaboration with program and support teams.
  • Through regular follow-up with partners, identify partners’ needs and challenges in program activities and ensure effective capacity development.
  • Ensuring of the appropriate safeguarding policies and practices, as well as incorporating gender responsiveness across programs and functional areas.
  • Support the implementation and performance of partnership agreements through field visits and appropriate physical monitoring if applicable, reviewing performance and financial reports.

Community Mobilization & Governance Officer at ActionAid Bangladesh

Project: Camp Coordination & Camp Management Program, Funded By UNHCR

Duties/Achievements:

  • Developing the capacity of members of Camp Committees, Block Committees, and Sub-Block Committees
  • Establishing key messages for community mobilization with Site Management and other sectoral actors as necessary
  • Dissemination of information and awareness campaigns, such as focus group discussions, participatory assessments, safety audits, household visits, and disaster preparedness campaigns, using appropriate IEC materials.
  • Engaging refugees in CCCM operations by providing them with key information and updates on the project through one-to-one or one-to-group sessions.
  • Establishment of a dynamic CFRM system and tool in the context of the camp.
  • Provide support to the field through technical advice and training on resource allocation processes and other programmatic issues.

Community Mobilization Officer at BRAC

Project: HCMP Program, Funded by UNHCR

Duties/Achievements:

  • Was responsible for organizing community engagement & awareness sessions with many teams to ensure that refugees are informed on SMS activities, feedback and complaints mechanism, understand the referral mechanisms, know the various service providers in the camp & ensure that they have access to all the services without any interruptions.
  • Set up camp community governance structure in coordination with CIC and CBP.
  • Promoted and coordinated capacity building activities & facilitated and coordinated life skills & awareness training for the committee.
  • Safeguard team members & the community from any abuse, neglect, harassment, or exploitation to meet the program’s goal of safeguarding implementation.
  • Support the team in programming of community of practice and continuously contributing to improvements of programming tools and processes.

Emergency Support to Rohingya & Host Community in Cox’s Bazar Project; Funded by Helvetas Swiss Inter cooperation Bangladesh.

Duties/Achievements:

Was responsible for maintaining liaison and coordination with various government and non-government organizations and establishing a functional relationship among them. Together with the team, coordinate and support life skills activities for Rohingya youth.

Freelance Graphic Designer

Since 2015 I have been working part-time as a Graphic Designer in different online platforms. I principally conduct my work in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
